AxesSim’s electromagnetic simulation solutions AXS-AP, AXS-E3, AXS-HD and AXS-SAR help engineers designing and optimizing innovative products and systems. The new release 2501 delivers our customers a set of new capabilities to improve productivity and precision of simulation results.
AxesSim’s simulation solutions provide designers with high performance tools to deal with this situation :
AXS-AP for optimizing antenna placement, AXS-E3 for better performance of equipment and systems and AXS-SAR for human quantification of these enhanced EM environments.
3D simulation capabilities are implemented in MaxSim and TEMSI-FD AxesSim’s products and the new release 2501 delivers the following set of improvements and new features.
MaxSim-FDTD

3. The Cole-Cole model

- The Cole-Cole model is a dielectric model widely used to model biological tissues at hight frequencies. The Cole-Cole model is now introduced in the FDTD chain.
- From the user’s point of view, a Cole-Cole type relative permittivity/permeability is handled in the same way as a Debye or Lorentz, with an adapted user interface.

4. Skin extraction
It’s possible to extract the outer volumes of a set of volumes. this features allows you to generate a new part in the mesh corresponding to the skin of the selected volume.
CableSim

In today’s world of high-performance electronics and the increasingly important electrification of the propulsion of transport systems, the modelling of cable harnesses and the electromagnetic fields they generate are becoming essentials.
Cablesim, CRIPTE and MILO are the software products involved in cable harness simulation. These products are part of AXS-HD and AXS-E3 solutions. The new features and improvements brought by 2501 release for cable harness electromagnetic simulation are the following:

2. Possibility to launch MaxSim and Kawa through Cablesim. MaxSim and Kawa open the same common project.

3. 2D Canvas
The 2D canvas is a graphical editor that allows you to create, edit, and view all elements of a harness in a 2D view. In this view, the user can see equipments, connectors, cable bundles, and cable bundle splices.

4. A new view is available in the Cablesim tree. In this view, the user can create voltage and current output requests on the connectors.
A new node for creating output requests is available in this view and viewing the results.


Kawa

Kawa is a conveyor of capitalization and sharing of technical and scientific knowledge. It is part of all AxesSim’s solutions to manage capitalization and technical expertise and to perform data processing and visualisation. The new features brought by 2501 is the concept of the common project.
When Kawa is opened from MaxSim or Cablesim, the data from MaxSim project (meshes and simulations) and cablesim project(MILO/CRIPTE results) are automatically opened.


AxsLaucher

- AxsLauncher is a graphical interface for easily launching software included with the AxesSim tool suite. The software it can launch includes : FreeCAD, MaxSim, Cablesim, Kawa , Paraview , and Spyder.
- Through AxsLauncher it tracks simulations launched on remote servers.
